Less than ten blocks away from Sacramento Street there is a brand new play structure at San Pablo Park. This image is used herein because this is the actual height that any Honorary Doctor William Byron Rumford Sr. three dimensional form should be. And if I had to design something for this project it would have this climb up and on in element as well.
Perspective with a real human being. This man walking through the the crosswalk is short and stout. I would describe him as height 5’7” and 250 lbs. Make your own assessments please. To me the bronze statue is short flat as in lifeless and awkward. This post is created to explain my perspective as someone who has been formally trained to make view and discuss sculptures both private and public art realms.

I added this picture from Berkeley College to show how a bronze of a white make is scaled properly to actual humans not football players. Whomever put that Rumford Bronze Project Together is a pack of misinformed citizens who don’t know or respect Public Art. Their tribute is fake and very funky.
