Berkeley Art Council in West Virginia created an art competition called “Mask-a-Palooza.” Look Away is the title name of the artwork entered. Look Away is a hand painted version of a Russian designed cardboard BU Mask pictured here on a 1.5 life size bronze of a man named William Byron Rumford that is located in a crosswalk in Berkeley, California. The mask is priced at $100,000.00 for a competition that has a $100.00 prize to create a conversation about the many factors that define current 2020 pandemic virus hate filled non employed current race politics murder value of human life and over all review of historic decency. What is presented herein is complicated and requires more than this post. The aim publishing the contents addressed herein is targeting that another area named Berkeley will buy into the logic presented seeing how the world is mapped.
